The book grew out of a sermon Kerry first preached in 1980 on “the deep things of God” from 1 Corinthians 2, and his sermon series on the life of Joseph. Along the way you’ll hear honest personal stories, including Alfred’s candid interview about addiction, prison, and coming to Christ, and Richie’s story of salvation and freedom from alcohol.
Each chapter opens with a Thought Starter and a Memory Verse, then moves through five daily readings, each ending with a Thought for the Day. Listen one day at a time as a devotional, or straight through. The written exercises from the print edition are left out, so the teaching flows without interruption.
